The Great New Zealand Muster - Street Festival

The Great New Zealand Muster and the Running of the Sheep, takes place every year in conjunction with the New Zealand Shearing Championships.

A street festival atmosphere that lets loose approximately 2000 sheep down the main street, brings Te Kuiti alive as thousands of visitors flock to the small town in the Waitomo District to soak up the live entertainment, thrill rides, exhibitors, craft and food stalls.
