Cats
A musical masterpiece composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and based on Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats and other poems by T. S. Eliot - Cats is one of the most popular musicals of all time.
It is the night of the annual Jellicle Ball where the wisest Jellicle Cat, Old Deuteronomy, will decide which cat is to be given the chance to be re-born. Munkustrap, acts as the Master of Ceremonies for the five cats, Jennyanydots, The Rum Tum Tugger, Bustopher Jones, Gus The Theatre Cat and Skimbleshanks, competing for the place in Heaven.
Grizabella, the former glamour cat, is uninvited and despite her begging for the chance to be reborn, is constantly ostracised by her peers. The Magical Mr. Mistoffelees outwits the evil Macavity in this high-energy night of entertainment. Only one cat will be chosen to ascend to the Heavyside Layer and be re-born. Who will it be?
This performance will be accompained by the Vector Wellington Orchestra.
