Hamilton European Heritage Tour

Today the south end of Hamilton's Victoria Street is renowned for it's cafes, restaurants and eateries, but it hasn't always been so. You may often walk down these streets, but you may not notice the historical pointers that are all around.

The Hamilton Heritage tour offers a look into the varied histories of key landmarks on Victoria and Hood streets, with architectural insight, historical anecdotes, and the quirks and highlights of life over the last hundred years.

Why is the floor in Metropolis chequered? What is the significance of the window above Sahara Tent? And why don't they change Garden Place back into a car park?

These questions and many more will be answered on this entertaining and informative tour.
