Tauranga 2008 Kart Street Race
The Tauranga Kart Street Race is the only kart street race in New Zealand and its uniqueness is a huge draw card for drivers, supporters and spectators alike.
The fast 1.2km circuit runs from the Start/Finish line at the City end of Cameron Road. The faster karts will achieve speeds in excess of 140kph leading into the 90 degree corners.
