THE EDGE is New Zealand’s premier performing arts, commercial entertainment and convention facility and is a central feature of Auckland’s Aotea Quarter.

THE EDGE comprises three of Auckland’s most significant landmark buildings - Aotea Centre, The Civic and Auckland Town Hall, linked together by the city’s largest outdoor space, Aotea Square.

THE EDGE is a world class event maker, with a 'best-in-class' philosophy that ensures every facet of its operation enables excellence. Our approach is clear - to enable the most memorable experiences possible. As the custodian of some of Auckland's most treasured civic buildings, THE EDGE offers unique venues and services to the performing arts, conventions and entertainment industries, enabling them to create memorable experiences for audiences and performances alike.

THE EDGE is renowned nationally and internationally for its creative development, education and public programmes. Some 1,500 individual performances, conventions and events take place at THE EDGE each year. Around 1.5 million people attend these events - often more than the total population of Auckland itself.
