Taki Rua Productions presents New Zealand plays embracing Māori perspectives.

Touring nationally and playing at major arts festivals, main stage theatres and community centers, Taki Rua Productions focus is to support emerging theatre practitioners and encouraging new voices in English and Te Reo Māori. It has undertaken several international tours.

The name 'Taki Rua' comes from a weaving pattern that literally means, "To go in twos".
