Sugarlicks operates as a hothouse for creative musical minds and inspiring artists, creating the assured and progressive new sound of Pacific Soul.

The label has so far released 8 albums in New Zealand, including compilations and individual artist albums. Recording takes place at the valve-sound Sugarlicks studio.

Sugarlicks Records is now distributed worldwide by MDM in Berlin.

Sugarlicks was conceived as a forum to showcase the talented artists emerging from Auckland's club, Khuja Lounge, and its melting pot of music, expression and culture.

Sugarlicks has grown to become one of the most dynamic identities in New Zealand, showcasing spoken word, freeform hip hop, pacifikan drumming, songwriting and dance.
