Porters Ski Area

Porters Ski Area opens for the winter season in June 2008.

Porters is the closest skifield to Christchurch, at only 1 hour away. It is located just off State Highway 73. Known for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Porter Heights offers something for everyone, with wide, easy slopes for beginners and learners, cruising runs and trails for intermediates and spectacular terrain for advanced skiiers and snowboarders

With it's new licensed cafe and 5 lifts, Porters is one of New Zealand's fastest growing skifields. The best days to visit this season will be Mondays, with two-for-one passes for all adults.
