The Feelers: Heartland Tour - Eltham

Kiwi rock band The Feelers are heading off the usual path of “national tours” on a special Heartland Tour throughout October and early November.

The Feelers will visit towns from Waipu to Twizel, playing in the town halls and community centres. The tour is an acknowledgement of the support The Feelers have always had from the length and breadth of New Zealand. The shows will be about connecting with the grass roots in the provinces which has always been an important part of the band’s success.

The Heartland shows will be special events, with part of the set including new arrangements of The Feelers’ classic songs for the more intimate environments. It is promised that these will be performances unlike any others, alongside The Feelers’ more familiar full-powered rock anthems.

The Feelers are one of New Zealand’s most successful bands. In the ten years since they emerged from their Christchurch hometown, eighteen of The Feelers’ singles have charted, with four being number one hits. The Feelers have released four albums - all of which have hit number one on the New Zealand charts.
