Riverton Easter Races 2009

The famous Riverton Easter Carnival is back with a three day meeting in 2009!

The Easter Races at Riverton are nationally recognised as one of the highlights of the racing season in the South Island. The meeting's feature race, the Riverton Cup, offers a record $100,000 in prize money, in 2009 - Its centennial running.

- Sat. 11 April 2009 Featuring the 100th Riverton Cup
- Mon. 13th April 2009 Featuring the GallopSouth Derby
- Fri. 17th April 2009 The opening day of the National Jumps season featuring 4 Races over the famed Riverton Country.
