Australian hardcore band Parkway Drive play live at the Civic in Christchurch.

With support from Sixlip, Habit, Beneath the Silence and Tainted - who are releasing their debut album.

From Byron Bay, Parkway Drive quickly established themselves as a formidable force. Their 2005 full-length debut album, ‘Killing With A Smile’ spent time in the ARIA National Top 40, affirming the astounding popularity of a band who had grown their fanbase from genuine hardcore roots.

Relentless touring has been one of the keys to Parkway Drive’s success. Local audiences have enjoyed Australian tours, Big Day Out and Homebake appearances and the 2006 Taste Of Chaos Tour.

Recently signed an overseas deal with indie giant Epitaph, they have spent a large part of the past year abroad, touring North America, Europe and Japan including the 2007 Vans Warped Tour.

In 2007, Parkway Drive unleashed their second album ‘Horizons’ which debuted at 6 on the ARIA chart, 1 on the Australian Artist chart and 1 on the Independent chart.
