Hollard Gardens
Hollard Gardens is an extensive 4.5 hectare property located near Egmont National Park. It has a significant collection of plants with historical and contemporary gardens.
The garden is divided into the Old Garden (1927), the New Garden (1982) and the New Zealand Garden (1992).
Initiated by Bernard Hollard (1903-1996) in 1927, the garden features everything from herbaceous plants to temperate-zone trees and shrubs. A number of the plants are extremely rare.
