Coromandel Mussel Festival
The Coromandel Mussel Festival is a celebration of Coromandel's Aquaculture Industry with great music, markets and a delectable seafood smorgasbord.
Located in historic and picturesque Coromandel, the "Coro Mussel Fest" is a destination for families, gourmet adventurers and explorers.
The festival will be held at the Coromandel Area School. Located in the middle of Coromandel township, it will cover the large playing field areas and connect with the large gymnasium.
The festival will start with an extensive market at 9am and run through to early afternoon when various top line musical entertainers commence and will conclude around 7pm.
The venue will be licensed and a wide variety of culinary seafood creations will delight the anticipated large crowd arriving from Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Waikato and further afield.
