A and P Show - Waimarino

Home to one of New Zealands oldest grandstands and with Mt Ruapehu as a stunning backdrop, the historic town of Raetihi will host the 99th Waimarino Agricultural and Pastoral show on the 20th and 21st of February 2010.

This years event will feature equestrian (hack, pleasure, jumping as well as Showhunter Horse of the Year qualifiers), miniature horses, dairy, beef, highland cattle, sheep shearing & axemens competitions, plus entertainment for the whole family.

The famous Raetihi Country Market Day will also be held at the Raetihi Showgrounds with art, craft and food stalls, Volcano coffee, homemade furniture, fresh cut flowers and much much more. Accommodation starts at just $20 per person and is within walking distance of the showgrounds.
