NZSO: Teddy Tahu Rhodes Tour - Series 1 - Invercargill

The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra live in concert with special guests: Bass-Baritone - Teddy Tahu Rhodes and Conductor - Pietari Inkinen.

The programme will include:
Verdi - Overture La Forza del Destino
Puccini, Bizet and Mozart Arias
Strauss - Don Juan and Till Eulenspiegel

Richard Strauss’ Don Juan and Till Eulenspiegel in turn graphically portray well known rakishness and a prankster’s merry exploits. To complement the Verdi, the bass-baritone arias are in keeping with the drama of this programme.

Teddy Tahu Rhodes has rapidly established himself as an important rising star of the operatic world. He recently sang his first acclaimed Don Giovanni for Opera Australia,

There will be a free pre-concert talk with Elric Hooper on Strauss at the Invercargill Victoria Room, Civic Theatre, at 7.15pm.
