NZMC is a government funded arts agency committed to growing New Zealand music business, both locally and abroad. Our diverse range of projects include the ever-popular NZ Music Month, free Music Law Sessions, a range of seminars with both local and international speakers, international trade shows like SXSW and Midem and a comprehensive online industry directory.

For artists embarking on an international career, our 'Outward Sound' team is here to assist in making life a little easier. Their focus is primarily on international music market development, working hand-in-hand with the artists’ managers.

Educationwise, the Musicians Mentoring scheme offers school-kids the opportunity to learn tricks of the trade from their heroes, in addition to the texts and interactive CD/DVD resources available for schools.
