New Zealand International Jazz & Blues Festival
The Christchurch International Jazz Festival, is now known as the NZ International Jazz & Blues Festival. The new name reflects the Festival's commitment to staging the largest jazz and blues music event in NZ. It enables the Festival to expand its programme and offer a wider and more eclectic programme to jazz and blues fans alike.
The 2008 Festival programme has a fantastic line-up of international performers and some of the best musicians in this country. The nine days of music feature jazz, blues, classics and a contemporary take on standards, in both ticketed and free events.
Watch out for our weekend of free outdoor jazz in the Lichfield Lanes.
