New Zealand Fringe Festival

Fringe 08 is the 15th Fringe Festival and is held in Wellington. It runs from 8 February to 2 March 2008.

Organised by the Fringe Arts Trust, the festival has grown from 30 acts in a few venues to around 80 events in more than 30 venues all over the Wellington region.

Fringe is recognised as a unique creative launch pad for the arts in New Zealand. It is an open access festival, with a focus on supporting and entertaining the local community. Anyone can produce a show or a creative project and be involved in this nationally recognised event.
