Soccer: NZFC - Hawke's Bay v Canterbury

Hawke's Bay United play Canterbury United in this match of the 2009/10 New Zealand Football Championship competition at Park Island.

The New Zealand Football Championship (NZFC) features eight national franchises representing Auckland, Waitakere City, Waikato, Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu, Wellington, Canterbury and Otago.

The NZFC teams play each other twice during the season, one home game and one away game. The top four teams will move on to the end of season playoffs, consisting of a home-and-away semi-finals series and a one-off grand final.

Auckland City won the 2008/09 NZFC Grand Final defeating Waitakere United 2-1 at Trusts Stadium.
