Netball New Zealand

Netball New Zealand is the national body which oversees the country's leading women's sport.

In New Zealand, Netball has a proud and strong tradition which over the years has continued to rise to new levels both on and off the court. A team sport played extensively by females of all ages, it has also become increasingly popular with boys and men.

There are over 120,000 registered members and a further 80,000 playing in social competitions for over 1000 clubs in 92 Centres nationwide. Netball is the largest participation sport in Secondary Schools (based on 2005 figures) and is still growing.

Netball provides pathways for players, coaches, umpires, officials and administrators and is made possible through the dedicated efforts of its network of volunteers.
