National War Memorial
New Zealand's National War Memorial consists of the War Memorial Carillon and the Hall of Memories. It commemorates the New Zealanders who gave their lives in the South African War, World Wars One and Two and the wars in Korea, Malaysia and Vietnam. An unknown New Zealand warrior is interred in a specially constructed tomb at the National War Memorial.
Carillon recitals occur at 12 noon Monday to Friday and 2:30pm on Sunday.
