Music Centre of Christchurch

The Music Centre of Christchurch is a charitable trust established to provide excellent facilities for music performance, education and administration with particular emphasis on young and gifted musicians. The Music Centre of Christchurch is a nationally recognised venue for music providing an inspirational environment for musicians and performers. The Music Centre also promotes concerts, recitals and performances in the performance venues of the Centre.

The Centre is based in the Heritage buildings previously occupied by the Sisters of Our Lady Missions and the Sacred Heart Girls College which, having been saved from demolition in the early 1990's, are now listed with NZ Historic Places Trust and are on the ChCh City Council town plan
