Plimmer's Ark
The remains of the 150-year-old wooden sailing ship Inconstant (later known as Plimmer's Ark) were excavated during the refurbishment of the Old Bank Arcade in downtown Wellington.
Some of these remains are currently on display in the Old Bank Arcade on the corner of Willis Street and Lambton Quay - which is where the Inconstant was uncovered during the renovation of this historic building.
The Plimmers Ark exhibition is part of the Museum of Wellington City and Sea.
