Come down to MOTAT and take a ride in the brand new five seater flight simulator, FlightSim5.

FlightSim5 puts you at the controls of some of the world’s most loved historical airplanes. Using the latest Microsoft flight simulation technology, you can become the pilot of a DC3, a Mosquito, a Vampire or even a Tiger Moth – it’s the closest you’ll get to flying the real thing.

Once you have experienced what it is like to fly these aircraft you can head over to MOTAT’s aviation hanger to see the actual planes in MOTAT’s extensive aviation collection and learn more about the part they played in shaping New Zealand’s history.
