Left Bank Art Gallery
Left Bank Art Gallery in Greymouth, Westland, has an expanding national collection of pounamu/jade. This major feature includes works from throughout New Zealand, including a permanent display of over 30 contemporary New Zealand Pounamu carvings from New Zealand artists dating from the 1960's.
The gallery hosts the national pounamu/jade exhibition biennially in January.
The Left Bank Art Gallery offers a continuous calendar of local and visiting exhibitions. The permanent collection includes work by Yvonne Rust, Olivia Spencer Bower, Sir Toss Woollaston, Stanley Palmer and the 1990 lithograph collection.
