Enjoy Public Art Gallery

Enjoy Public Art Gallery is an artists' initiative based in Wellington, New Zealand. Established in 2000, the gallery was initiated to promote experimentation in visual art.

Enjoy facilitates contemporary art exhibitions and aims to actively encourage critical discourse around contemporary practice. Enjoy offers visitors a diverse programme of contemporary art projects, events and publications. We are currently the only non-commercial project space in Wellington.

We encourage experimental art projects from both emergent and more established practitioners. Proposals can be submitted by artists and curators throughout the year, they are assessed regularly by Siv B. Fjaerestad, Enjoy's Curator & Manager.

Enjoy is a small gallery with a generous community. With a paid staff of only 1.5 people, we rely on a range of skilled and keen volunteers to realise the programme and other projects. If you are keen to get involved in contemporary arts in a grass-roots organisation, we have a range of interesting activities you could get involved in.

Please see the Enjoy website for more information about the gallery, its exhibition programme and extensive archive of past shows. You can also contact us through our website.
