Launch of Living Windows: Reflections and Stories from Otago Migrants
Since 1993 the Dunedin Multi-Ethnic Council has supported migrants to the city, promoting tolerance and goodwill, and enabling new arrivals to develop pride in their adopted country while assisting them to protect and share their traditional customs and values. With the assistance of tutor Maari McCluskey, newcomers have produced a book describing the joys and frustrations of life in a new environment.
