Miguel Angel Rios

The Dunedin Public Art Gallery invites you to view two video works by Miguel Angel Rios, showing from October 3rd 2009 - January 24th 2010.

This is the first time New Zealand audiences will have the opportunity to see works by the acclaimed Argentinean born, New York and Mexico City based artist Miguel Angel Rios.

The Dunedin Public Art Gallery is proud to be presenting the two videos - 'White Suit' (2008) and 'On the Edge' (2005). Both are visually spellbinding and thrilling in terms of the cultural and political messages they contain.

A senior figure in the Latin American art community Rios works across a diverse range of subject matter, media and ideas to produce both deeply evocative and profound artworks.
