Downstage Theatre is New Zealand's longest running professional theatre.

Celebrating 40 years in 2004, Downstage is an intimate theatre, seating approximately 250 people. It is situated in the centre of Courtenay Place, Wellington - New Zealand's capital city and cultural hub.
