Colin McCahon - Urewera Mural
The Urewera Mural was painted in 1976 by Colin McCahon, an internationally renowned New Zealand painter.
The mural contains references to Tuhoe history and mythology as well as references to Te Kooti and Rua Kenana. It is in a purpose-built gallery at the Aniwaniwa Visitor Centre.
