Carols in Your Community

The community spirit will be enhanced in Christchurch's eastern suburbs when the Carols in your Community series of small local events is launched.

The six events bring the community together to celebrate the joys of Christmas with a variety of activities on offer from local groups including Residents Associations, community groups and Churches.

Sat 29th November, 12.00pm - 3.00pm
Donnell Sports, Brooker Ave, Burwood, If wet at Burwood Christian Centre, 54 Bassett St, Burwood,
BYO picnic lunch, Free Hellers sausage sizzle, volleyball, bouncy castles & a variety of kids games

-- Dallington, Halberg St Reserve
Thursday 4th December, 6.00-7.30pm onwards
If wet will be held in the Scout Hall on Halberg St, fundraising sausage sizzle, kids games & carols and brass band.

-- Northshore, Aston Reserve Aston Dr, Northshore
Friday 12th Dec 6.00pm-9.00pm
If wet postponed until Sat 13th Dec, BBQ, Free Hellers sausage sizzle & carols

-- Parklands/Queenspark, Parklands Reserve (near playground), Queenspark Dr
Sunday 14th December, 6.00pm - 8.00pm.

Sat 20th Dec 10.00am-12.00pm

Wed 24th Dec 4.00 - 5.00pm, Simon Barnett will MC the activities including an afternoon tea, Free Hellers sausage sizzle, carol singing & games, kids may come dressed as angels, shepherds or kings.
