Arts Centre Heritage Week Tours
The Arts Centre is one of the most significant clusters of heritage buildings in New Zealand. Once the site of the University of Canterbury, Christchurch Girls' High and Christchurch Boys' High schools, it is now an internationally renowned centre for the arts, culture and creativity, and one of Christchurch's most-visited attractions. Join us for a free guided tour and learn more about this transformation which began in the late 1970s, along with commentary on events and activities that occurred in the Arts Centre between the 1940s and 1970s.
