Christchurch Arts Festival

The premier showcase of the best of New Zealand arts and culture, the festival presents a broad programme of high-quality arts events targeting the residents and visitors of Christchurch.

Two-thirds of the programme is New Zealand sourced, with a special emphasis on showcasing landmark New Zealand performance and exhibitions. The programme encompasses theatre, dance, music, opera and the literary and visual arts.

Held biennially in mid-winter, the 2007 festival will take place from 26 July to 12 August.
