Timaru Festival of Roses

The Timaru Festival of Roses is held annually to celebrate the arrival of summer and Timaru's close affinity with the rose.

The Festival is an action packed week of activities, walks, talks, tours, exhibitions and displays, art, theatre and of course plenty of roses. But it's not all roses - far from it. There are plenty of competitions, shows and activities for the whole family.
