Brass Bands Association of NZ Inc

Brass Bands Association of NZ is the governing body for all NZ brass bands.

Since 1880, BBANZ has organised one of NZ's largest and certainly the oldest music festivals. The NZ National Brass Band Championships is an annual event for over 1200 musicians held in various centres.

BBANZ also forms the National Secondary Schools Brass Band, National Youth Brass Band and National Band. An Executive Officer and Director of Education are based in Wellington
