Body Festival of Dance and Physical Theatre

The Body Festival is Christchurch's annual Festival of Dance and Physical Theatre.

The Festival aims to marry active community participation with professional performance. During the 2008 festival 60 community 'have a go' workshops will be held, where participants will be taught the basics of various dance styles. Furthermore, there will be 20 major community performance events, professional performance events, and several film presentations.
