BikeNZ’s vision: a nation embracing cycling.

BikeNZ was developed to grow day-to-day (commuter), recreational and competitive cycling.

BikeNZ is a service organisation for New Zealand’s key national cycling and biking organisations: Cycling NZ, Mountain Bike NZ, BMX NZ, NZ Schools Cycling, NZ Masters Cycling, and the Cycling Advocates Network.

Our organisation is unique internationally in that it embraces not only the sport and recreation sectors of cycling, but also advocacy and tourism groups.

BikeNZ focuses particularly on advocacy for cycling and biking,
coaching development, elite, events, officiating, and schools and junior cycling.
