BATS Theatre
With the aim of attracting a new, young audience to theatre, BATS Theatre presents diverse, relevant and challenging theatre to Wellington audiences.
It offers the best of cutting edge and experimental theatre from New Zealand and overseas.
The theatre also focuses on developing live performance practitioners and new theatre works from New Zealand. To this end, it has an annual programme of over 60 shows, the vast majority being New Zealand and world premieres.
