The Last 100 Days - Victory and Home

The Last 100 Days is a new exhibition to mark the 90th anniversary of the New Zealand Division's early efforts on the Western Front on display at the Army Museum Waiouru.

Experience this 'walk through' diorama providing an overview of the New Zealand Division's efforts on the Western Front (1916 - 1918).

Find out about the final battle the Division fought, which was at Le Quesnoy on 4 Nov 1918. View a section looking at the end of the war and the men's return home (many of which were broken in mind, body and spirit) Discover some of the difficulties they had adjusting to life back in New Zealand and the change through 90 years from many of them being shunned to now being both celebrated and commemorated through Anzac Day and Return of the Unknown Warrior.
