Aotearoa Ethnic Network
AEN, the Aotearoa Ethnic Network, operates an electronic mailing list for everyone involved in ethnic community issues in Aotearoa/New Zealand and an on-line publication of the same name.
AEN has been developed so that members of ethnic communities around the country can talk to each other and for those involved in delivering Government or NGO services to get in touch with our communities for consultation and to provide information.
Postings to the AEN electronic mailing list should be specifically relevant to ethnic communities. Distributing your information and announcements through AEN ensures that it reaches as wide a network of people as possible, including key decision makers in communities and government.
The AEN Journal is an open access online journal that publishes commentaries and critical perspectives from those in or involved with ethnic and religious communities in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
The AEN Journal promotes critical debate on issues facing migrants and refugees, ethnic diasporic and religious communities. Recent issues of the Journal have focused on the arts and on information and communication technology (ICT). The AEN Journal is available free on the internet.
